- Montego Bay traffic fell 16.6% and Kingston traffic slipped 3.8%.
Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico said its preliminary September 2026 terminal passenger traffic fell 7.3% from September 2025. The figures were released on 6 October 2026.

Mexico
The company said its 12 Mexican airports recorded a 6.7% decline in total passenger traffic versus a year earlier. Tijuana fell 12.1%, Puerto Vallarta dropped 10.4% and Los Cabos declined 7.5%.
GAP said the drop was mainly linked to lower seat capacity offered by airlines, especially in the domestic market. In the final days of the month, weather tied to Hurricane Polo affected the Mexican Pacific region and Baja California Sur, and partially affected operations at Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos.
On domestic routes, the biggest declines were on Puerto Vallarta–Tijuana, Puerto Vallarta–Monterrey, Los Cabos–Guadalajara and Tijuana–Guadalajara. In the international market, the largest drops were on Los Cabos–Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Cabos–Los Angeles and Los Cabos–Phoenix, as well as Puerto Vallarta–San Francisco and Puerto Vallarta–Phoenix.
Jamaica
In Jamaica, passenger traffic at Montego Bay Airport decreased 16.6% from September 2025. Kingston Airport traffic fell 3.8% over the same period.
