Aberdeen shareholders back directors, auditors at 2026 AGM

Aberdeen International said shareholders elected all three director nominees at its 2026 AGM on Sept. 28 and approved McGovern Hurley LLP as auditor.

Aberdeen International said the nominees in its August 28, 2026 circular were elected as directors at the annual general and special meeting held on September 28, 2026. The company said 50,050,225 common shares were voted, or about 31.146% of the issued and outstanding common shares.

Vote results

Fred Leigh won 98.817% of votes for and 1.183% withheld. Gregory Biniowsky received 67.441% for and 32.559% withheld. Dev Shetty received 67.249% for and 32.751% withheld.

Shareholders also approved the appointment of McGovern Hurley LLP as auditor and set the number of directors at three.

A special resolution for a consolidation of Aberdeen’s common shares of up to 10 for one did not pass and was revoked for insufficient shareholder support.
