Bitkub Exchange wins Thai cybersecurity excellence award

Bitkub Online, the operator of Bitkub Exchange, received the Prime Minister Awards: Thailand Cybersecurity Excellence Awards 2026 on Sept. 25, 2026, at the Ramada Gardens Hotel in Bangkok.

The company said Sit Thongsinak, a director, and Mongkol Chatputthamong, its chief information security officer, attended the ceremony. Dr. Ratchada Thanadirek, an assistant minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, chaired the event.

Air Commodore Amorn Chomchoei, secretary-general of the National Cyber Security Committee, also joined in congratulating the participating organisations.

Bitkub said the certificate recognised its “outstanding” cybersecurity standard under the Prime Minister Awards: Thailand Cybersecurity Excellence Awards 2026. It said the award underscored its commitment to raising cybersecurity standards at both the organisational and user levels.

The company also said it puts customer digital asset security first and will keep improving its standards. It added that the award supports confidence in clients and users and its push for a more secure and sustainable Thai digital ecosystem.

The release said the Prime Minister Awards: Thailand Cybersecurity Excellence Awards are organised by the National Cyber Security Committee to honour organisations with effective, national-standard cyber security management. It also said Bitkub had previously received SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 22301:2019 standards.
