BLCP wins Thailand human rights model award for second year

BLCP Power said it received the 2026 human rights model award for outstanding large business for a second straight year. Justice Minister Police Lieutenant General Rutthapol Naowarat presided over the ceremony and presented the award.

Managing director Suraseth Rattanaprasert said the company follows three human-rights principles. He cited people-centred workplaces, a clear non-discrimination policy and trust-building for growth.

• A clear non-discrimination policy that protects rights regardless of sex, race, religion or difference, with training and fair performance reviews.
• Building trust with employees, partners and communities as the basis for efficiency and innovation.

BLCP said the recognition also underscores its aim to be more than a power producer. It said the award supports energy stability and security, as well as Thailand’s energy transition and sustainable social and environmental development under ESG principles.
