CIMB Thai offers 3-month flood relief on home and personal loans

• The relief covers Home Loan and Personal Loan customers.
• Eligible borrowers can apply from 27 September 2026 to 31 October 2026.
• Customers must not already be in NPL status when they register.

CIMB Thai Bank said it is offering flood-affected customers a relief measure that allows eligible borrowers to suspend principal and interest payments for three months. The bank said the measure is meant to ease financial burdens and help customers recover and continue living.

The programme covers two loan types: Home Loan and Personal Loan. Both carry a three-month suspension of principal and interest.

To qualify, customers must not have previously joined the bank’s relief measures, or must currently be receiving help and want to switch to this new measure instead. They must also not be non-performing loan customers when they apply or register.

After registration, customers will need to provide information or evidence confirming flood impact, including proof that a residence was affected. The bank asked applicants to send completed documents to [email protected].

Required documents include a signed copy of a national ID card with sensitive details such as religion or blood group masked, the completed application form, and photos or other evidence of damage. Customers can request the form by calling 02 626 7070.
