KBank offers flood relief for Bangkok customers

KASIKORNBANK has rolled out flood relief for customers affected in Bangkok’s 50 districts and areas under Interior Ministry notices, effective now.

KASIKORNBANK has introduced relief measures for customers affected by flooding in Bangkok’s 50 districts and other areas announced by the Interior Ministry. The bank said the help is available now.

Retail measures

For home loans, the bank will let customers defer principal and pay only interest for up to three months. For top-up home loans used to repair homes, it is offering 0% interest for three months and a free collateral appraisal.

For KBank credit cards, Xpress Loan and Xpress Cash cards, the bank will also allow principal deferral with interest-only payments for up to three months. For car hire-purchase loans, it will cut monthly instalments by up to 50% for six months and extend the repayment period by three months.

Business and insurance

Business customers can defer principal and pay only interest on existing credit limits for up to three months. They can request assistance from now until 31 December 2026.

Retail customers can contact K-Contact Center on 02-8888888. Business customers can contact their relationship manager or K-BIZ Contact Center on 02-8888822. Car hire-purchase customers can call KLeasing Call Center on 02-6969999.

For motor and property insurance bought through KASIKORNBANK and underwritten by Muang Thai Insurance, flood-hit customers can file claims via Line OA @mtifriend, email [email protected], the 1484 call centre or an online form. Claim payments remain subject to the policy terms.
