  • Record holders of Common Shares on Oct. 5, 2026 are entitled to the distribution.
  • The shares will trade on due-bill terms until the close on the payment date.
  • Common Shares will trade ex-distribution from Oct. 20, 2026.

Orca Energy Group Inc. has declared the cash distribution, which it called the Special Distribution, on Sept. 28, 2026. It is payable on Oct. 19, 2026 to holders of Common Shares of record on Oct. 5, 2026.

The company set the payment at C$1.50 per Class A Common Voting Share and C$1.50 per Class B Subordinate Voting Share. The Common Shares will trade under due-bill procedures through the close on the Payment Date.

Trades on the TSX Venture Exchange during the Due Bills Period will be identified so purchasers receive entitlement to the Special Distribution. Sellers during that period will also sell that entitlement to the purchaser.

The Common Shares will start trading ex-distribution from the opening on Oct. 20, 2026, the next trading day after the Payment Date. Oct. 20, 2026 is also the last settlement date for trades executed during the Due Bills Period.

For Canadian income tax purposes, Orca said the paid up capital of the Class B Shares is approximately $45,990,000.

Orca is an international public company engaged in natural gas exploration, development and supply in Tanzania through PanAfrican Energy Tanzania Limited. It trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under ORC.A and ORC.B.
