The bank said the package covers personal customers, entrepreneur-business borrowers and SME customers. It includes payment holidays and new lending to repair homes and restore businesses.

Payment relief for existing borrowers

For home loans and My Home My Cash borrowers, SCB is allowing principal-only payments for up to three months. Car-loan customers can defer payments for up to three months, with the repayment period extended by the same number of instalments, subject to a borrower age limit of 65 at the end of the contract.

Entrepreneur-business borrowers can also defer principal for up to three months. SME customers hit directly or indirectly can choose from three measures: principal deferral for up to six months, principal-and-interest deferral for up to three months, or a temporary revolving-credit increase of up to 20% of the existing limit, capped at 10 million baht.

New credit and fee waivers

For new borrowing, SCB is offering top-up home loans for repair work and waiving appraisal fees on detached houses, semi-detached houses, townhouses, townhomes, condominiums and commercial buildings. The collateral must be appraised by Dec. 31, 2026, and the approved credit must be drawn within 10 business days counting from that date.

For SME customers, the bank is offering loans to renovate, repair or replace damaged business assets. The facility is capped at 20% of the existing limit and no more than 10 million baht, with a maximum tenor of seven years and a 4.0% rate for the first two years.

SCB said its current minimum retail rate is 6.575% a year, effective March 2, 2026, and can move up or down under the bank’s notices.

The bank said customers can apply at any SCB branch nationwide or through the SCB Customer Center at 02-777-7777, press 99. SME customers can apply through their relationship manager or the SCB Business Call Center at 02-722-2222.

SCB said it would process affected customers’ requests carefully and promptly, and help them return to normal life as soon as possible.
