WiPay launches Wi Double Deal with THIM for foreign tourists

WiPay has rolled out “Wi Double Deal, Enjoy Thailand with Wi Wallet for Seamless Journeys” for foreign users of the THIM app. The campaign started on Sept. 25, 2026, and is tied to Wi Wallet VISA Physical Card and Virtual Card sign-ups.

Users must obtain a redemption code through THIM to apply for the cards, which are priced at 1,000 baht each. The offer includes a 30-day waiver of Thai QR scan-payment fees from the activation date.

WiPay also said users get 100 baht cashback after spending a cumulative 5,000 baht on either card within the required period. Cashback is limited to once per activated card and is transferred to the Wi Wallet account within seven days after the spending threshold is met.

The company said the campaign is meant to extend the payment experience for foreign tourists after they arrive in Thailand. It said Wi Wallet aims to reduce payment constraints and widen access to local QR payments as part of its “Borderless Access, Seamless Journey” concept.

WiPay said Wi Wallet continues to expand its partner network and that the app is available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
