  • Sydney is Bombardier’s third Australian support site.
  • The station will handle AOG events, unscheduled line maintenance and some scheduled work.
  • Bombardier says the location includes Mobile Response Team capabilities.

Bombardier said on Oct. 8 it added a new Line Maintenance Station in Sydney, Australia. The site expands its Asia-Pacific support network and brings the company’s worldwide LMS presence to 11.

The Sydney station complements Bombardier’s existing Australian network, which already includes a Line Maintenance Station in Perth and a service centre in Melbourne. Bombardier said the new site will support Aircraft on Ground events, unscheduled line maintenance and select scheduled maintenance activities, including inspections.

The location includes Mobile Response Team capabilities. Bombardier said that allows technicians to provide remote support to customers when and where they need it.

Support coverage

Technicians supporting the Sydney location are certified to service Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft, the company said.

Being number one in customer support is something we’re proud of, but staying number one means never standing still.

Sislian said the station brings Bombardier expertise closer to customers and advances its investment in Australia and across Asia-Pacific.

APAC build-out

Bombardier said the Sydney LMS underscores its continued investment in Australia and its broader growth strategy across APAC. Earlier this year, it announced an expansion of its Singapore Service Centre.

The Singapore site is expected to nearly double in size when it opens in the second half of 2028. Bombardier said it will offer scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, avionics installations and 24/7 AOG support, with a new Component Repair and Overhaul workshop.

Bombardier said it has top rankings in Aviation International News for three years in a row and in Professional Pilot Product Support for two years in a row.
