Discovery reports new high-grade Pamour drill hits

• The company said 52 holes totalling 16,827.4 metres were reported from ongoing exploration at Pamour.
• Results came from the Pamour Pit, Pamour West and the North Contact Zone.
• Discovery said drilling continued to extend mineralization beyond the current resource and within the current pit design.

Discovery Mining reported results from ongoing exploration at the Pamour Mine on Oct. 7. The company said the 52 holes covered 16,827.4 metres and formed part of its 255,000 to 285,000-metre 2026 exploration program.

Discovery reports new high-grade Pamour drill hits

The company said the drilling continued to confirm and expand mineral resources in all three phases of the current open-pit mine plan. It also said the work returned high-grade intersections at multiple targets close to the existing resource.

Pamour pit

Discovery said drilling at the Pamour Pit targeted the east and west limits of the current resource. At the east side, it listed 42.37 gpt over 5.1 metres, 2.01 gpt over 20.7 metres, 1.80 gpt over 29.0 metres and 4.58 gpt over 20.7 metres.

Other east-side results included 7.39 gpt over 18.0 metres, 1.86 gpt over 20.0 metres, 3.61 gpt over 8.8 metres, 2.86 gpt over 12.5 metres, 1.76 gpt over 14.6 metres and 1.09 gpt over 22.3 metres.

At the west side, the company cited 40.64 gpt over 5.4 metres, 3.64 gpt over 9.8 metres, 11.25 gpt over 10.5 metres, 2.06 gpt over 13.5 metres and 1.03 gpt over 17.1 metres. It also reported 3.54 gpt over 6.7 metres and 1.79 gpt over 14.5 metres.

Pamour West

Discovery said drilling at Pamour West tested areas around and up to a kilometre east of the historic Broulan open pit. It said results included 5.04 gpt over 10.0 metres, 6.05 gpt over 5.0 metres, 4.08 gpt over 11.3 metres, 3.64 gpt over 10.2 metres and 2.01 gpt over 12.0 metres.

The company also listed 2.24 gpt over 12.6 metres, 4.85 gpt over 5.0 metres, 1.08 gpt over 9.8 metres, 2.54 gpt over 8.0 metres and 2.41 gpt over 8.7 metres. Discovery said the most easterly hole drilled was 900 metres east of the Broulan pit and 600 metres from the historic Pamour Pit.

North Contact Zone

At the North Contact Zone, Discovery said 10 holes targeted a volcanic-sedimentary contact north of the phase 2 pit. The company said results included 1.43 gpt over 23.7 metres, 4.36 gpt over 6.0 metres, 2.50 gpt over 8.4 metres, 3.83 gpt over 5.0 metres and 1.83 gpt over 10.5 metres.

Discovery said the new holes continued to expand mineralization north of the current Pamour resource pit. It added that the drill program remained ongoing, with one drill at the Pamour open pit, two at Pamour West and one at the North Contact Zone.

The company said the Pamour open-pit resource includes 64.8 million tonnes grading 1.30 gpt in the indicated category and 23.3 million tonnes grading 1.34 gpt in the inferred category.
