Fredonia files technical report for EDM project PEA

Fredonia Mining filed a technical report supporting a preliminary economic assessment on its EDM project in Argentina. The report has an effective date of Aug. 17, 2026.

Fredonia Mining has filed a technical report supporting disclosure of the results of a preliminary economic assessment on its wholly owned El Dorado Monserrat gold and silver project in Santa Cruz province, Argentina. The report carries an effective date of Aug. 17, 2026.

Fredonia said the PEA results were disclosed in a news release dated Aug. 31, 2026.

Report details

The technical report is titled “NI 43-101 Technical Report - Preliminary Economic Assessment, El Dorado - Monserrat Gold-Silver Project.” Fredonia said it was prepared by Sergio Alvarado Casas, Ricardo Muñoz González and Carlos Puga Gómez.

The company said each of the three is a qualified person under Canadian National Instrument 43-101.

Fredonia said Alvarado Casas reviewed and approved the scientific and technical information in the release. It said he is the principal author of the technical report and works for Fredonia as an independent consultant through Geoinvest Limitada.

Project portfolio

Fredonia said it holds gold and silver license areas totalling about 64,000 hectares in the Deseado Massif geological region in Santa Cruz province.

  • Its flagship advanced EDM project covers about 33,500 hectares and is near AngloGold Ashanti’s Cerro Vanguardia gold-silver mine.
  • The El Águila project covers about 9,100 hectares.
  • The Hornia project covers about 21,500 hectares.

Fredonia said Cerro Vanguardia produced about 180,000 ounces of gold during the 12 months ended June 30, 2026, based on public disclosure by AngloGold Ashanti. It said that information was not independently verified by its qualified person and is not necessarily indicative of the EDM project.
