The booth will include the previously released CROSSBOW MINI and the CROSSBOW SE1 8 kW, the first addition to the new CROSSBOW SE product line. IPG Defense said multiple systems will be on display in a layered defense arrangement.

Systems

The company said the two products share a scalable architecture and integrate with available radar and C2 systems. It said CROSSBOW MINI is aimed at rapid expeditionary deployment where mobility matters.

IPG Defense said the CROSSBOW SE line provides increased laser power options for longer-range defense against Group I-III UAS threats. It also said interactive kiosks will let attendees run virtual simulations using UAS threats and CROSSBOW systems to defend critical assets.

Comments

Across the globe, UAS, whether individually or in swarms, continue to threaten both military and civilian critical assets.

— Dr. Ben Allison, vice president of IPG Defense

Allison said the company’s presence at Land Forces is to engage with customers and show how its current product lines address their needs, with emphasis on cooperative engagements using multiple CROSSBOW systems in a layered defense architecture.

IPG Defense said its booth is K05 on Level 3. It said program personnel will be on hand to discuss laser defense solutions and IPG Defense products.
