Teck makes Forbes women’s top companies list again

• Teck was named to Forbes World’s Top Companies for Women 2026 list.
• The ranking is based on surveys of about 120,000 women in more than 36 countries.
• Teck said this is the second time it has received the recognition.

Teck Resources Limited said on Oct. 7 it was named to Forbes’ World’s Top Companies for Women 2026 list. The company said the recognition is the second time it has received the honour.

Teck makes Forbes women’s top companies list again

President and CEO Jonathan Price said Teck’s people are “the foundation of Teck’s success.” He said the company is committed to creating a workplace where people feel “respected, valued and supported to grow and succeed.”

Price said the recognition reflects “the culture our employees help build every day” and Teck’s “ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace where talented people can thrive.”

Ranking

Forbes said the 2026 ranking recognises organisations identified through independent, anonymous surveys of about 120,000 women across more than 36 countries.

The ranking also incorporates assessments of employer brand, public perception regarding gender equality and leadership research.

Teck said it has also been recognised as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers by Mediacorp Canada’s Top Employers program for the past nine years.
