Thai SEC says trading systems can operate normally amid floods
Thailand's SEC said on Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, that securities and digital-asset trading systems can continue operating normally despite flooding.

Pornanong Busaratrakul, secretary-general of the Securities and Exchange Commission, said the regulator has been monitoring the flood situation closely and coordinating with the Stock Exchange of Thailand, other related parties and digital-asset businesses.

She said she had been informed that on Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, trading systems and related operations could run normally under flexible management suited to the situation. The regulator said investor protection and the safety of employees and other personnel remained a priority.
The SEC also said it wanted investors and the public to continue receiving securities trading, digital-asset trading and other related services from businesses without interruption.
It told investors to follow official information from the SEC, the Stock Exchange of Thailand and the businesses they use.
