Mineralys Therapeutics said on Oct. 2, 2026 that new data from its Launch-HTN trial of lorundrostat will be presented at the American Society of Nephrology Kidney Week 2026. The meeting runs Oct. 21-25 in Denver, Colorado.

The oral presentation is titled “Blood Pressure and Albuminuria Reduction with Lorundrostat in Chronic Kidney Disease Stages 1 to 3 in the Launch-HTN trial.”

The authors are Liffert Vogt, MD, PhD, Patrick J. Heagerty, PhD, and Sarbani Bhaduri, MD, MS.

Trial design

Launch-HTN was a global, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 3 clinical trial. It enrolled adults whose blood pressure remained uncontrolled despite two to five antihypertensive medications.

Participants were assigned to lorundrostat 50 mg once daily, lorundrostat 50 mg once daily with the option to increase to 100 mg at week six, or placebo. The primary endpoint was change from baseline in systolic blood pressure at six weeks versus placebo, measured by automated office blood pressure monitoring.
